WAC Announces All-Academic Honors For 2001 Spring Sports

DENVER - Twelve TCU student-athletes were among those named to the 2001 academic All-WAC baseball, golf, softball, tennis and track and field teams, as announced by the conference office today. Nine additional Horned Frogs earned academic All-WAC freshmen team honors announced for all sports.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least fifty percent of the team's contests.
