June 13, 2001
FORT WORTH, Texas--TCU Director of Marketing Brian Estridge announced today the additions of Jeff Crane and Jason Booker to the Horned Frog athletics staff. Both men have officially joined the department as assistant directors of marketing.
Crane, a 1998 TCU graduate, moved across campus to the athletic department after previously working as the university's assistant director of alumni relations, a position he had held since October of 1998. After graduating from TCU, Crane was first employed by the Forbes Group Marketing Management Firm.
During his time as a TCU student, the native of Shreveport, La., was a member of numerous select groups including: Who's Who Among American College Students, Golden Key National Honor Society, Mortar Board National Honor Society and the Dean's List.
Booker arrived at TCU upon completing his graduate studies at Wichita State University in May of 2001. While getting his master's degree at WSU, Booker was an athletic marketing and sales associate who worked extensively with men's basketball and baseball.
Booker graduated from the University of Kansas with a sport management degree in 1999. While at Kansas, he worked for the Jayhawks' athletic marketing and promotions department for three years. Booker also has been employed by RHB Ventures and The Coach's Edge.
"We're excited to have Jeff and Jason in our office," Estridge said. "Jeff brings a great knowledge of Fort Worth community and the Horned Frog fan base, while Jason comes from a highly successful sports marketing team at Wichita State. They will be great additions to the staff."
In their present roles, Crane will deal primarily with season ticket sales, while Booker will work in the areas of corporate partnerships and women's basketball marketing.
