Hall Promoted to Director of Sports Medicine

Longtime TCU athletic trainer Chris Hall has been promoted to Director of Sports Medicine, TCU Associate Athletics Director Ross Bailey announced today.
Hall, who is completing his 18th year as an athletic trainer at TCU, has been responsible for athletic injury recognition and care, treatment and rehabilitation for the men's basketball team, as well as coordinator of all athletic training support services for the athletics department. With this promotion, he becomes just the fifth head athletic trainer in school history, following in the footsteps of Albert Smith, Elmer Brown, Jim Sullenger and Ross Bailey.
"Chris has been a tremendous part of the team for a long time and it was time to move forward with this promotion," said Bailey, who served for 22 years as Head Athletic Trainer at TCU. "He is highly competent and organized and will continue with the excellent level of care that TCU sports medicine has been known for."
Hall joined the TCU athletics staff in 1984 after serving a year with the training staff at the University of Arkansas. Prior to joining the Razorbacks, Hall was a student trainer with the Dallas Cowboys.
A 1983 graduate of TCU, Hall obtained his bachelor's degree in secondary education. In 1989 he earned a Master's degree in liberal arts from TCU.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Hall and his wife, Rebecca, have three children.
