This Season - Duerringer can swim the 100 and 200-free with anyone...very competitive in the pool.
As a Sophomore in 2005-06 - Led the team and set a personal best in the 200-free (1:51.86)...posted the fourth best time in the Mountain West Conference for the 200-free, and the fifth best time for the 100-fly...earned second-team All-Mountain West Conference honors for the 200-free...member of the second-team all conference 200- and 800-free relay squads...took part in the 800-free relay team that placed second in TCU history (7:30.04)...participated in the team[apos]s 200-free relay team that recorded the school[apos]s third-best time (1:34.25)...swam in the 400-free relay that slated the fourth-best time in school history (3:28.01)...recipient of the team[apos]s Academic Award.
As a Freshman in 2004-2005 - TCU[apos]s Freshman of the Year... earned a gold medal as a member of the Frogs[apos] 800-freestyle relay... the quartet finished the race with a time of 7:25.96 seconds, which was both a meet and school record... also was a member of the fourth-place 400-medley relay (3:52.30)... placed fifth in the 200-free (1:52.56), seventh in the 100-free (51.86) and 10th in the 100-fly (57.59).
High School - All-American and all-state selection all four years... team MVP as a sophomore... Rookie of the Year as a freshman... helped lead Kingwood to the 2004 Texas State High School Team Championship.
Personal - Full name is Emily Kathryn Duerringer... daughter of Bruce and Theresa Duerringer... born Oct. 10, 1985... enjoys scrap booking... elementary education major.
