- TCU has scored in 423 consecutive games, the second-longest streak in NCAA history behind Florida (475).
- The Horned Frogs have scored on the opening possession in every game this season.

- His 56-yard punt was the longest of his TCU career.
- Averaged 52.7 yards per punt, the second-highest punting average by a Frog since Joey Biasatti did so in 2001 (52.8; 5-264).
- Posted his second consecutive 300-yard passing game, going 21-29 for 337 yards and three scores. It is also the second consecutive game he has surpassed 300 yards on fewer than 35 pass attempts.
- Posted a sack for the second straight game.
- Had a career-high seven tackles, the first time he has led TCU in tackles.
- Made his first field goal attempt of the season, a 29-yarder, in the fourth quarter.
- Scored his first touchdown of the season by way of a three-yard rush in the first quarter.
- Found the end zone for the second straight game and the second time this season thanks to a nine-yard pass from Craig.
- Caught his first touchdown pass of the season on a 17-yard pass from Craig in the second quarter.
- Posted 164 yards receiving, which is a career high. The mark is the most since Eric McAlister had 254 against SMU last season.
- His yard total nearly doubled his production for the season entering the game (166 yards), and almost surpassed his total from last season (188 yards).
