- Grambling State won the toss and chose to defer to the second half.
- Kickoff temperature was 100 degrees, the hottest recorded game in Amon G. Carter Stadium history.
- Tonight's attendance at Amon G. Carter Stadium was 37,600.
- TCU has scored in 422 consecutive games, the second-longest streak in NCAA history behind Florida (474).
- The Horned Frogs have scored on the opening possession of both games this season.
- Grambling State was held to 20 rushing yards, the first time TCU has held an opponent to under 25 rush yards since Purdue tallied 23 in 2019.
- TCU recorded 33 first downs, the 10th most in program history.
- The 63 points were the most TCU has scored since scoring 63 against Jackson State in 2017. It also was the largest point total since that game.
- The Horned Frogs are now 24-3 in home openers in the 21st century.
- TCU posted over 600 yards of total offense, the first time the Horned Frogs have accomplished this feat since 2022 against Oklahoma.

- A 31-yard rush in the second quarter was his longest run of his career.
- Passing total of 391 is a career high, and four touchdowns ties a career high.
- Scored second touchdown in as many games in 2026.
