Franco tallied first career save against No. 7 Arkansas
FORT WORTH – TCU baseball's sophomore utility player Noah Franco was tabbed the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week for his performance in a win over No. 7 Arkansas Saturday night at Globe Life Field. The honor is the first of his career.
Franco took over on the mound with a run in and TCU clinging to a 5-4 lead in the seventh. He retired nine of 10 batters faced, fanning four and walking one to pick up his first career save. He had to navigate the top of the Arkansas lineup over the final two innings.
TCU returns to action Tuesday night against UT Arlington. The contest will take place at Globe Life Field. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. All the action can be heard on GoFrogs.com, 88.7 KTCU FM or the Varsity App.
