TCU Home Opener Set for 7 p.m.

The Big 12 announced start times for the first three weeks of the season
FORT WORTH – TCU's home opener against Abilene Christian on Sept. 13 will start at 7 p.m. and air on ESPN+.
The Horned Frogs' Big 12 Conference opener at Arizona State on Friday, Sept. 26 will begin at 8 p.m. CT and air on FOX.
The announcements came from the Big 12 and its television partners on Thursday, that included the first three weeks of the 2025 season.
TCU won its final four games and six of the last seven to close this past season with a 9-4 record. The Horned Frogs open the 2025 campaign at North Carolina on Monday, Sept. 1, at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
The remainder of the season's television selections will be announced on a 12-day or six-day notice via Big12Sports.com and the Conference's official digital platforms
Sonny Dykes completed his third season as TCU's head coach. During that same span, the Horned Frogs' 18 wins are tied for the conference lead.
Returning quarterback Josh Hoover set a TCU season passing record in 2024 with 3,949 yards. He led the Big 12 while ranking fifth nationally with 61 completions of at least 20 yards. He ranks No. 1 in the FBS in that category for returning quarterbacks this fall. Hoover is also the lone returning quarterback nationally to average 300 yards per game passing (303.8) and have a passer rating of at least 150 (151.1).
