Mayberry, Van Lith earn recognition for the past month
FORT WORTH – Hailey Van Lith (women's basketball) and Indya Mayberry (women's track and field) have been named TCU Student-Athletes of the Month.
Van Lith, a senior guard, was named Big 12 Player of the Year and earned Third-Team All-American honors from both the USBWA and AP. She led the Horned Frogs to their first Big 12 Championship title, earning MVP honors after dropping 20 points in the final win over Baylor.
Mayberry sprinted into the spotlight by winning the 200m National Championship and collecting First-Team All-America honors in both the 60m and 200m. She currently holds the No. 1 100m time in the nation for the outdoor season and played a key role in breaking the TCU school record in the 4x100m relay at the Texas Relays.
These two elite Horned Frogs continue to set the bar high and bring national recognition to TCU Athletics.
