Frogs Fall in Quarterfinals of the NCEA National Championship

TCU falls to South Carolina 14-5

OCALA, Fla. – The TCU equestrian team concluded its season with a 14-5 loss to South Carolina in the quarterfinal round of the NCEA National Championship.

FENCES
The meet opened in the fences arena, where South Carolina swept all five points to take an early lead over the Frogs.

REINING
TCU got on the board in reining as Shea Graham secured the first point with a 70.5 on Tank. Lannie-Jo Lisac followed with a strong ride on John Snow, scoring 72.3. Jessica McAllister ended the event with a 70.5 on Gus to give TCU three points.

FLAT
South Carolina continued its momentum in the flat, sweeping the event 5-0.

HORSEMANSHIP
The meet wrapped up in horsemanship, where Payton Boutelle earned a point for TCU with a 75.5 on Shirley. Elizabeth West tied her matchup with a 71.7 on Chopper. Sidney Dunham closed the meet with a win, scoring 74.8 on Shirley.
