White leads Horned Frogs with a season-high 21 points
BOULDER, Colo. – A late Colorado scoring run helped the Buffaloes pull away from TCU in a 76-56 Horned Frogs loss Saturday at CU Events Center.
After trailing all game, TCU (16-15, 9-11) scored 11 unanswered points to get within one point, 51-50 with 10:11 remaining. Colorado (12-19, 3-17) closed the game on a 25-6 run and held the Frogs without a made field goal for the final six minutes and 54 seconds.
Trazarien White scored a season-high 21 points with 2-of-4 shooting from the field and 7-of-8 from the free throw line. Noah Reynolds scored 10 of his 12 points in the first half and also made two 3-pointers.
The Horned Frogs were outrebounded 45-29. TCU shot a season-low 31.6 percent from the field and went 0-for-7 from three in the second half. Colorado shot 45.6 percent from the floor.
TCU will next play in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship which begins on Tuesday at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo.

- TCU dropped to 3-3 all-time against Colorado and split the season series 1-1.
- TCU moved to 2-9 on the road this season.
- TCU shot a season-low 31.6 percent from the field.
