TCU defeats Fresno State on Senior Day

Frogs remain undefeated at home
FORT WORTH – The TCU equestrian team defeated Fresno State 14-6 on Friday afternoon at KSM Bear Creek Farms.
The Frogs swept the Most Outstanding Performer (MOP) awards with Ashleigh Scully in fences, Shea Graham in reining, Laurel Smith in flat, and Jessica McAllister in horsemanship.
FENCES
The meet began in the fences arena, where Lilly Goldstein earned the first point for the Frogs with a score of 79 on Electric. Ashleigh Scully, the MOP of the event, followed with an 87 on Fats to claim the second point. Ella Bostwick added another point with her ride on Caramba, scoring an 86.5. Lex Lipacis secured the final point with an 85 on Java.
REINING
In the western arena, Lannie-Jo Lisac scored a 70.75 to pick up the first point. Shea Graham, the event MOP, earned her highest score of the season with a 73.75 to add another point for the Frogs. Jessica McAllister secured the final point in the event with her ride on Boogie Man.
FLAT
The second half of the meet started in the flat arena. Lipacis earned her point with an 84 on Dover. Bostwick and Scully added two more points with scores of 87.5 and 83.5. Laurel Smith, the MOP, wrapped up the event with an 89 on Lina.
HORSEMANSHIP
The meet finished in the horsemanship arena. The MOP of the event, Jessica McAllister, earned the first point with a 76.25 on Jake. Elizabeth West followed with a career-high 77.25 on Hector. Payton Boutelle closed out the meet by earning the final point on Cupid.
UP NEXT
The Horned Frogs travel to Stillwater, Okla.where they will face Oklahoma State. The meet will take place on March 12 at 1 p.m.
