Horned Frogs have four in the top 10

HUMACAO, Puerto Rico – TCU finished the first round of the Palmas del Mar Collegiate in first place after shooting 7-under 281 on Sunday.

The Horned Frogs have four in the top 10, led by Joe Pagdin, who shot 5-under 67 and is tied for second place. The senior made seven birdies and one eagle. He trails the leader, Weston Jones of Rutgers, by one stroke. It was Pagdin's fourth-straight round played under par.

Jack Beauchamp, Scott Roden and Hudson Wilt are tied for ninth at 1-under 71. Roden is competing as an individual.

Freshman Charlie Wylie along with Toby Wilt, each shot even-par 72 and are tied for 17th.

Pagdin, Roden and Toby Wilt all carded eagles with each coming on a different Par 5.

The Horned Frogs, which leads second place North Texas by four strokes, begins the second round at 6:30 a.m. CT on Monday.
