
TCU Finishes Final Tune Up Before Big 12 Championships

HOUSTON – The TCU women's swimming and diving team wrapped up its final competition before the Big 12 Championships at the First Chance Meet on Feb. 7-8, delivering strong performances across multiple events.
Several divers secured Zone cuts, while multiple swimmers recorded top finishes and personal bests.
ON THE BOARDS
Leah Fletcher, Lauren Cey, and Eszter Kovacs all earned Zone cuts on the platform event.
Cey led the group with a third place finish, scoring 249.30, while Fletcher placed fifth with 238.15. Kovacs secured her Zone cut with a seventh-place finish, scoring 225.70.
Anna Kwong continued her dominant season with a first-place finish on the 1-meter scoring 311.80. Kwong also placed second on the 3-meter with a score of 324.20.
IN THE POOL
Rhanishka Gibbs finished second in the 50 free with a time of 23.29. Caelan Burt placed third in the 100 free clocking a time of 51.69.
Lexi Drap set a personal best in the 100 free with a time of 51.89. Sydney Herr finished third in the 100 back, setting a new personal record of 56.51. Emilia Hellak took second in the 200 breast touching the wall at 2:23.11.
UP NEXT
The Horned Frogs will travel to Federal Way, WA to compete at the Big 12 Championships on Feb. 25-March 1.
