Horned Frogs are 1 of just 2 teams nationally to face 11 Power 4 Conference opponents
IRVING, Texas -- The Big 12 Conference has announced TCU's finalized 2025 football schedule.
TCU will be one of just two schools nationally to face 11 Power Four Conference opponents. In 2024, the Horned Frogs were one of only three FBS teams to play 11 P4 foes in the regular season.
The 2025 campaign will also mark the final one with just six home games for the Horned Frogs. Beginning in 2026 with eight, TCU will have a minimum of seven home dates each year.
After opening the season on Labor Day Night at North Carolina on Sept. 1, TCU's home schedule will begin with consecutive games in Amon G. Carter Stadium against Abilene Christian (Sept. 13) and SMU (Sept. 20). In Big 12 play, TCU will host Colorado (Oct. 4), Baylor (Oct. 18), Iowa State (Nov. 8) and Cincinnati (Nov. 29).
The Bearcats will play in Amon G. Carter Stadium for the first time since a memorable 43-10 TCU win in 2003. It kept BCS hopes alive for a Horned Frogs team that moved to 10-0 for the first time since its 1938 national championship season.
In addition to its season-opening trip to Chapel Hill, with UNC playing at TCU in 2026, the Horned Frogs will travel to Arizona State (Sept. 27), Kansas State (Oct. 11), West Virginia (Oct. 25), BYU (Nov. 15) and Houston (Nov. 22) in conference action.
TCU will play at ASU's Mountain America Stadium for the first time since the 2012 Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl against Michigan State. The BYU game will mark TCU's first trip to Provo since a 38-7 win over the No. 16 Cougars when both schools were in the Mountain West.
TCU's two open dates are Sept. 6 and Nov. 1.
