TCU defeats Texas A&M

Frogs move to 7-3
FORT WORTH – The No. 2 TCU equestrian team secured an 11-9 victory over No. 5 Texas A&M on Thursday afternoon at KSM Bear Creek Farms. With this win, the Horned Frogs improve to a 7-3 record and remain undefeated at home.
TCU claimed three of the four Most Outstanding Performer awards: Ella Bostwick in the flat, Jessica McAllister in horsemanship, and Shea Graham in reining.
FENCES
The meet began in the fences arena, where Ashleigh Scully put TCU on the board first with a score of 77 on Caramba. Laurel Smith followed with a 77 on Van, while Jordyn Scelsa secured the final point in the event with an 80 on Electric.
REINING
In the western arena, Shea Graham, the event's MOP, started strong with a 72 on Britney, earning the first point in the event. Lannie-Jo Lisac followed with a 71 on Player to add another point for the Frogs.
HORSEMANSHIP
The second half of the meet began with horsemanship, where Payton Boutelle earned her point with a 72 on Peyton. The event MOP Jessica McAllister followed with a 78.5 on Cupid, winning her point by eight and a half points. Shea Graham closed out the event with a 77.5 on Hector.
FLAT
The competition wrapped up in the flat arena, where Lex Lipacis secured the first point with a 76 on Luke. Ella Bostwick delivered a strong ride, scoring an 88 on Dover to claim both her point and the event's MOP award. Lilly Goldstein secured the victory for the Frogs with an 83 on Stryker.
UP NEXT
The Frogs will be back in action this Saturday, March 1 in Waco, Texas to take on the Baylor Bears.
