
Frogs Finish Second at Palmas del Mar Collegiate

Beauchamp, Pagdin finish in top 10
HUMACAO, Puerto Rico – TCU finished as runner-up at the Palmas del Mar Collegiate on Tuesday in Puerto Rico.
The Horned Frogs resumed play Tuesday morning after starting the final round Monday afternoon. Additional play was pushed to Monday after anticipated inclement weather on the area on Tuesday.
TCU went to bed Monday with a four-stroke lead over Arkansas with about six holes remaining per individual. On Tuesday, the Razorbacks moved from 14-under to 21-under and the Horned Frogs went from 18-under to 19-under.
TCU finished the third round 3-under 285 and finished 19-under 845 for the tournament with the help of two top-10 finishes.
Joe Pagdin finished with a score of 8-under 208 and placed third, which was his best this season. It was Pagdin's sixth-straight round under par.
Jack Beauchamp finished in seventh place for the second-straight tournament. He was 4-under 212.
Freshman Charlie Wylie had his best round of the tournament at 2-under 70. He finished a season-best 3-under 213 and tied for 11th.
Freshman Hudson Wilt shot a season-best 2-under 214 and finished tied for 15th.
TCU will return to action Feb. 24-26 at the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate at Reflection Bay Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev.
