Frogs set to be well represented in city of Houston
HOUSTON – The TCU women's swimming and diving team will take their talents to Houston for the Houston Diving Invite and Rice Fall Splash on Friday and Saturday.
The TCU Diving team will face off against Houston and Rice at CRWC Natatorium for the Diving Invitational. Admission to the Diving Invitational is free. TCU Swimming will head down the road to the Rice Competition Pool for the Fall Splash to go head-to-head with Houston and Rice.
In the first meet of the season against Incarnate Word, the women defeated the Cardinals 237-70. This triumph helped the TCU swimming and diving team as a whole win all but two events out of 34 total and set one new top-10 time during the meet.
Three individuals on the women's side earned Big 12 weekly awards after the first week of competition, as Nina Vadovicova was named Swimmer of the Week, Emma Larcada Herrera was tabbed Diver of the Week and Nicole Christensen was selected as the Newcomer of the Week in her first collegiate meet.
