TEAM NOTES
- TCU won the toss and elected to defer.
- Today's attendance at Milan Puskar Stadium was announced as 54,110.
- TCU has now scored in 415 consecutive games, the second longest streak in NCAA history - trailing only Florida (468).
- TCU snapped a three-game scoreless first quarter streak that dated back to the Arizona State game.
- TCU's second touchdown drive (to go up 17-7) took 5:38 off the clock in the second quarter, the longest touchdown drive by time this season.
- With the win, TCU has won their 33rd game overall and 21st conference game since 2022, both the most in the Big 12.
PLAYER NOTES
RB Trent Battle
- Led the Frogs for the second week in a row, both games including a rush of 40+ yards (65-yard touchdown last week vs. Baylor)
- The 46-yard rush before halftime was Battle's fifth explosive rush of the season (15+ yards), the most on the team.
- Tallied 15+ tackles for the second consecutive game, the first Horned Frog to do so since at least 1995 (records do not go back further)
- Converted a 35-yard field goal on the game's opening drive, the longest made field goal of the redshirt freshman's young career. It was also the first made field goal – and just second attempt – in the past four games for TCU
- Later in the game, he connected on a 41-yard field goal to eclipse his previously set career long
- Eclipsed 100 yards receiving for the third time this season and for the eighth time in his career
