TEAM NOTES
QB Josh Hoover
- TCU won the toss and elected to defer.
- Today's attendance at Amon G. Carter Stadium was announced as 43,868.
- TCU has now scored in 414 consecutive games, the second longest streak in NCAA history - trailing only Florida (467).
- TCU is now 60-54-7 all time against Baylor in Texas' most-played college football rivalry.
- TCU allowed a first quarter touchdown for just the second time this season, the only other being by North Carolina in the season opener.
- The Horned Frogs were held scoreless in the first quarter for the third consecutive game.
- After the first torrential downpour in the second quarter, TCU outscored Baylor 21-3 over the next ~15 minutes of gametime.
- TCU scored on its first offensive possession of the second half for the third time this season and first since the Abilene Christian game.
- TCU had its first in-game lightning delay since 2013 against Texas.
- The last time TCU held a QB under 50% completion in a game was against Kansas in 2024.

- Scored his first TD since the North Carolina game in the first quarter.
- Now has 12 20+ yard receptions this season, the second-most in the nation behind SJSU's Scudero (15).
- Had first catch and touchdown as a Horned Frog.
- Forced and recovered his first career fumble in the second quarter.
- First Horned Frog to have 15+ tackles in a game since Garret Wallow against Oklahoma in 2019.
- Has an interception in the last three TCU home games.
