TEAM NOTES
QB Josh Hoover
- TCU won the toss and elected to defer.
- Today's attendance at Bill Snyder Family Stadium was announced as 51,316.
- TCU has now scored in 413 consecutive games, the second longest streak in NCAA history - trailing only Florida (466).
- TCU had at least six receivers catch a pass for the 47th consecutive game, a streak that spans back to the Kansas game on Nov. 20, 2021.
- TCU's first touchdown drive covered 93 yards on 12 plays – tying the longest scoring drive of the season (vs. ACU).
- TCU allowed a fumble return for a touchdown (on a dropped backwards pass) for the first time this season and for the first time since the Arizona game last season (Nov. 23, 2024).
- TCU also allowed a pick-six for the first time since the SMU game last season (Sept. 21, 2024).
- TCU had a pair of receivers eclipse the 100-yard mark (Eric McAlister and Ed Small) for the first time this season and for the first time since the Kansas game last season (Sept. 28, 2024).
- When TCU loses the turnover battle – as they did today – they are 6-11 under Sonny Dykes. When the Frogs win or equal the turnovers, they are 25-4.
- With the loss, TCU's last win in Manhattan remains a 26-6 win in 2017 (dropped four straight).
QB Josh Hoover
- Passed Max Knake (622) for fourth on the program's career completion charts
- Eclipsed the 300-yard mark for the third time this season but threw a pair of interceptions for the second time this season
- Recorded his first career pass breakup on K-State's opening drive of the game
- Scored a touchdown for the third consecutive game in which he has appeared (missed last week vs. Colorado due to injury)
- Extended his streak of games with a reception to 32 games – the second-longest streak in the Big 12 and seventh-longest nationally
- Eclipsed 100 yards for the second time this season and seventh time in his career, including his time at Boise State (fourth at TCU)
- Recorded the first 100-yard game of his career, tallying 101 yards on six receptions
