Marks the second coach of the year award won by Bell this season
FORT WORTH - TCU women's soccer head coach Eric Bell was honored by the United Soccer Coaches Black Soccer Coaches Community Group as the 2025 College Soccer Coach of the Year.
In 2024, Bell earned his third Big 12 Coach of the Year honor as he guided the Frogs to an unbeaten Big 12 record (9-0-2) for the second time under his leadership (2021). The Frogs clinched the Big 12 regular season title for the third time in five years (2020, 2021, 2024) with a 2-0 victory over Oklahoma State. The award marks the fourth time in program history a TCU head coach has been named coach of the year (David Rubinson - 1997, Bell - 2020, 2021).
TCU led the Big 12 with 10 all-conference selections, including six first-team honorees - the most in program history. The Frogs are one of 17 teams nationally to qualify for eight of the nine NCAA tournaments and one of 20 teams to host five of the last eight first rounds.
In his 13 years at TCU, Bell has a record of 149-81-40 which ranks second all-time in program history. In the same time period, TCU has had four MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalists, seven All-Americans and 68 all-conference performers.
