Horned Frogs tied for sixth after two rounds
SAMMAMISH, Wash. – TCU finished in a tie for sixth place after Saturday's two rounds at the Shalalee Players Championship at the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash.
The Horned Frogs shot 3-under 285 in the second round to move up four positions after the morning's first 18 holes. They are tied with Florida at 7-over par. Arizona State leads the tournament at 10-under.
One of three newcomers competing, Scott Roden finished the day in a tie for sixth place at 2-under 142. His second-round score of 4-under 68 included five birdies and a hole-in-one a 176-yard par 3.
Toby Wilt and Ethan Dial each finished tied for 26th place at 2-over 146. Wilt shot 1-under 71 in the second round, while Dial shot even-par 72.
Newcomer Joe Pagdin finished the 36 holes in a tie for 46th place at 5-over 149.
TCU will conclude play on Sunday starting at 9 a.m. CT on hole No. 10.
