Bech and McAlister top 100 yards receiving
Team Notes
•After winning 34-27 at Stanford in its season opener, TCU had its second road game against an ACC member in the season's first four weeks.
•The Horned Frogs faced two ACC teams in the same season for the first tine since 2009, when they won 30-14 at Virginia and 14-10 at Clemson in the opening three contests.
•TCU had a four-game winning streak snapped against ACC opponents.
•The Horned Frogs are 5-6 all-time against the ACC.
•TCU is playing 11 Power Four Conference opponents this season.
•The Horned Frogs and Mustangs met for the 103rd time in their history.

•Hoover had his fourth career game with three touchdown passes.
•Hoover had his first interception of the season on his 143rd pass. He entered the game with the most attempts (119) by an FBS player without a pick. Dating back to last season, his 147 passes without an interception mark the second-longest streak in TCU history (154, Jeff Ballard, 2006).
•Hoover's 1-yard scoring run was his second rushing touchdown of the season and fourth of his career.
•Cam Cook's 7-yard touchdown was his team-best fifth rushing score on the season.
•Jack Bech recorded his third 100-yard receiving game of the season with eight catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns.
•Bech had a 46-yard touchdown, his fourth reception of at least 43 yards this season which also represent the four-longest catches of his career.
•Bech had the first multiple-touchdown game of his career with scoring grabs of 46 and 15 yards.
