Grundsoee Earns Spot on Demark's Olympic Team

Grundsoee will be program's second Olympian
FORT WORTH - TCU rifle's Stephanie Grundsoee has earned a spot on Denmark's Olympic Team for the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. She becomes the second Olympian in program history, joining Sarah Scherer who competed in the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games.
Grundsoee just wrapped up a successful five years as a member of the TCU Rifle Team. She finished her career as TCU's first 12-time first-team All-American. In her time on campus, TCU qualified for the NCAA Tournament each season, culminating in a National Championship this past season. The squad took home a trio of Air Rifle National Championships (2021, 2022, 2024) as well. The Frogs finished as the National Runners-Up in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Individually, Grundsoee qualified for the individual finals in air rifle three times and smallbore twice. Additionally, TCU won four Patriot Rifle Conference Championships (2020, 2021, 2023, 2024). She was the 2021 PRC Individual Champion in both disciplines.
The Rifle portion of the Olympics is set to get underway July 27 and runs through Aug. 2.
