
Five More Frog Entries Advance to Eugene

TCU’s women shined on the final day of the NCAA West First Round
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Five Horned Frog entries punched their tickets to the NCAA Outdoor Championships on the final day of the NCAA West First Round at John McDonnell Field.
TCU will send nine total entries to Eugene, Ore., for the national meet – two on the men's side and seven from the women's team.
The 4x100 team kicked off the day with an automatic qualifying 43.47. The team of Teanna Harlin, Mikayla Hayes, Dreunna Washington and Iyana Gray finished second in their heat to advance.
It was the first of three qualifications for Gray as she also advanced in the 100m. She finished third in her heat and fifth overall with her time of 11.01 (2.3w) to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
Gray punched her third ticket of the day with a sixth-place finish in the 200m. She clocked a 22.56 (2.3w) and placed third in her heat to earn her third ticket to Eugene.
Joining Gray in the 200m was Harlin. Her time of 22.82 (3.4w) was good for second in her heat as she automatically advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in her NCAA West First Round debut.
Gracie Morris is returning to the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 1500m. The senior won her heat with her time of 4:17.23 to make her second trip to Eugene in three seasons in the 1500m. She was an Honorable Mention All-America honoree in 2022.
In the 400mH, Tia Williams' time of 57.60 was good for 14th. Amelliah Birdow finished 23rd with her time of 59.93.
The women's 4x400 squad of Samarra Monrroy, Kelaiah Daniyan, Birdow and Williams ran a 3:33.37 to finish 14th.
