
Fearnley and Pinnington Advance to Round of 32

All-American pair both earn ranked wins in the Round of 64
STILLWATER, Okla. – Jake Fearnley and Jack Pinnington showed no signs of slowing down less than 24 hours removed from leading TCU to its first NCAA National Championship.
The ITA singles All-Americans earned opening round victories in the NCAA Individual Championships on Monday afternoon at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
Fearnley, No. 7 nationally earned his 11th ranked win of 2024, easing past No. 44 Leo Raquin of Middle Tennessee in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1.
Pinnington added another win to his perfect postseason singles record. The ITA No. 13 singles player, Pinnington bounced No. 58 Pablo Alemany of Memphis in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4. Pinnington was tabbed the NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player and is now 7-0 in outdoor championships play.
The Horned Frog duo will be back in action tomorrow when Fearnley takes on No. 63 Finn Murgett of Auburn. Pinnington will battle No. 39 Nikola Slavic of Ole Miss.
