
TCU Finishes Second at NGI

Beauchamp, Wilt Finish in the top 10
MARICOPA, Ariz. – TCU finished in second place at the National Golf Invitational Sunday at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz.
The Horned Frogs shot 2-under 286 in the final round. TCU shot a season-best 22-under 842 overall and finished second to Washington State (-41).
Sophomore Jack Beauchamp had his second-straight round of 3-under 69. Included in the round were three birdies and one eagle. With a career-best 11-under 205, Beauchamp finished in third place, four shots behind the tournament winner, Anthony Delisanti of Valparaiso.
Sophomore Toby Wilt shot even-par 71 to finish tied for ninth place with a career-best 5-under 211.
Freshman Andrew Petruzzelli finished just outside the top 10 with a career-best score of 4-under 212, good for 11th place. He was 2-over 74 in the final round.
Junior Ethan Dial had an eagle on the par 4 No. 14 hole and shot even-par 72. He finished with a season-best 2-under 214 and finished tied for 17th place.
