
TCU Set for NCEA National Championships

No. 1 Frogs face No. 8 UC Davis Thursday
OCALA, Fla. – The No. 1 ranked TCU equestrian team is set to make their 15th consecutive appearance at the NCEA National Championship, held from Apr. 18-20 at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Fla.
The Horned Frogs will take on No. 8 seeded UC Davis on Thursday, April 18 at 8:30am EST.

Last Time Out vs UC Davis
TCU and UC Davis last met in February 2023 at the UC Davis Equestrian Center where the Horned Frogs earned an 11-9 win over the Aggies. The Frogs have an overall record of 4-0 over the Aggies.
If the Frogs come out victorious on Thursday, they will compete against either No. 4 Texas A&M or No. 5 Georgia.
Nationals History
The Horned Frogs are no strangers to the NCEA National Championships. Last year, they earned the win against No. 5 seed Texas A&M in the quarterfinals to advance to the semi-finals to take on then-No.1 ranked SMU.
The Frogs have qualified for the National Championship competition every year since the NCEA's establishment in 2009.
Season in Review
With an impressive season, TCU finished with an overall 12-2 record and a conference record of 6-0. TCU holds the highest winning percentage of all Big 12 schools for the 2023-2024 season, with .857 overall.
The Frogs were undefeated at home, securing six wins at Bear Creek Farms. They also had a winning away record, earning victories in six out of eight meets in opponent or neutral territory.
