The freshman shattered the 17-year-old record
AUSTIN, Texas — TCU wrapped up a successful second day of competition at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Thursday.

Tia Williams broke the school record in the 400m hurdles with her time of 57.35. The freshman broke the 17-year-old record that was previously set by Kishelle Paul in 2007.

Her time of 57.35 earned her a third-place spot in the prelims as she punched her ticket to Friday's finals. It's also the No. 4 time in the NCAA this season.

Benjamin Kirbo continued his stellar sophomore season with his record-breaking height of 5.15m (16-10.75) in the pole vault. Kirbo now owns both indoor and outdoor school records.

Gracie Morris finished second in the women's 1500m with her time of 4:19.75.

Lloyd Frilot placed third overall in the men's 800m with his time of 1:49.20 – the 10th-fastest time in program history. Ryan Martin followed behind him, finishing fourth (1:50.09).

Also notching a strong performance was Johnson Lagat in the men's 1500m B. He placed third with his time of 3:51.90.

In the women's 800m, Tabitha Kalunde Ngao, who finished ninth overall, ran the fourth-fastest time in school history with her time of 2:07.74.

London Culbreath concluded the Texas Relays Distance Carnival for the Frogs. She finished 12th overall with her time of 16:58.36.

Elise Dobson and Joel McFarlane wrapped up their multi events on Day Two of the Texas Relays. McFarlane tallied 6,577 points over the two-day event, highlighted by a fourth-place finish in the 1500m (4:44.29). On the women's side, Dobson placed 14th overall with her personal-best total of 5,039 points to improve her No. 2 mark in program history.
