TCU finishes in 15th place
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Senior Gustav Frimodt led TCU at the Pauma Valley Invitational as he tied for 22nd place on Tuesday in San Diego, Calif.
Monday's play ended early as darkness set in at Pauma Valley Country Club. One group, which included TCU's Chris Berzina was unable to finish the final hole, which was completed on Tuesday.
Frimodt scored rounds of 71, 70 and 72 at the par 71 course. He finished at even-par 213 for tournament.
Jack Beauchamp recovered from a first-round score of 3-over 74 with an even-par 71 and 1-over 72. He shot 4-over 217 and finished tied for 44th place.
Ethan Dial shot 10-over 223 to tie for 69th place and Toby Wilt was 11-over 224 and tied for 74th place.
The Horned Frogs shot 21-over 873 and finished in 15th place. TCU will continue its season at The Goodwin, held March 28-30 at TPC Harding Park Golf Club in San Francisco, Calif.
