
Five Horned Frogs Garner All-Region Honors

Castain, Dioro and Pena earned First-Team Midwest
FORT WORTH – Five members of the TCU women's soccer team have been named to the United Soccer Coaches Association All-Midwest Region Team.
Seven Castain, Bella Diorio, and Oli Pena earned first-team honors, while Morgan Brown secured a spot on the third team and Caroline Kelly was named to the fourth team. This marks Kelly's third career selection, while Castain, Diorio, Pena, and Brown received the honor for the first time.
Castain tied for the Big 12 lead with 13 goals this season while also leading the team in game-winning goals with five. In a standout performance, she scored four goals in a 6-1 victory at No. 14 Colorado, becoming only the third player in TCU history to score four goals in a single match. Castain finished the year with six assists and earned first-team All-Big 12 honors along with a spot on the Big 12 All-Tournament Team.
Diorio, the Big 12 Forward of the Year, contributed 11 goals and four assists in her sophomore season, ranking third in the Big 12 for goals scored. She was also second in the league in game-winning goals, with four. Diorio was named to both the first-team All-Big 12 and the Big 12 All-Tournament Team.
Pena, a senior midfielder, was key to TCU's offensive success, providing nine assists and scoring two goals. She was named the Big 12 Midfielder of the Year and earned first-team honors, along with a spot on the Big 12 All-Tournament Team.
Brown netted four goals in her debut season, three of which were game-winners. The Wylie, Texas native also contributed two assists and made 16 starts. She was named to the All-Big 12 First Team, All-Freshman Team and the Big 12 All-Tournament Team.
Finally, Kelly, a fifth-year senior, tied for the Big 12 lead with 13 goals this season. She recorded two braces during conference play and scored four game-winners. Kelly was also named to the first-team All-Big 12 and All-Tournament Team.
