Defensive lineman tied for second on TCU in sacks
NEW YORK -- TCU defensive lineman Zachary Chapman has been named a Second-Team Freshman All-American by The Athletic.
Chapman's 3.0 sacks tied for second on the Horned Frogs. The Missouri City, Texas, native played in all 13 games and totaled 24 tackles with a quarterback hurry. He had a career-best six stops, including a sack, in the victory over Texas Tech.
TCU (9-4) won four in a row and six of its last seven games to close the season.
