Triathlon Ranked No. 3 in CTCA Poll

The Frogs recently placed third at Battle in the Fort
FORT WORTH – Following a third place finish at Battle in the Fort, the TCU triathlon team is ranked No. 3 in the second CTCA Poll of the season.
The Horned Frogs have won two events so far this season – the Southern Hills Collegiate Cup and the Duquesne Invitational.
First place Battle in the Fort finisher, Arizona, is ranked first in the CTCA polls while Arizona State sits at second in the polls. Denver and San Francisco follow behind TCU, respectively.
Amanda Moro ranks ninth individually following her ninth-place finish at Battle in the Fort, earning 98.70 points. Jenna Buchanan is 13th overall, highlighted by her tenth place finish at Marine Creek, her runner-up finish at Duquesne, and her 12th place finish at South Dakota. Sara Gimena rounds out the top-25 with her 97.66 point performance at Beaver Creek.
The Frogs are ranked first in the eastern region and look to prove their rank at next weekend's Eastern Regional in Troutdale, N.C. The race occurs on Saturday, Oct. 12.
