From the moment Caleb Fox stepped onto TCU's campus, he felt something special. He knew coming to TCU meant becoming part of a legacy and finding a place he could call home. "When I visited, the people made me feel like this was the place I needed to be." It was clear to him that TCU was the place where he would thrive both as a player and a person.
For Fox, TCU is more than just a program– it's about family and tradition. "I think it's the strong tradition that goes back so far," he said. "The community was really great when I came for my visit, and I talked to people outside of football which really made me feel at home."
That sense of belonging is what drives Fox as he takes on the challenges of the season. With football's highs and lows, he has learned how to handle both. Keeping a positive outlook helps him to stay motivated, even when things get tough. He says, "What keeps me going is knowing that there's always going to be another day. You can't worry too much about what has happened in the past." Fox shares his mentality with his teammates reminding them, "Everything happens for a reason, and we just have to keep moving forward."
Much of Fox's strong mindset comes from his family, especially his grandmother, who he says has been a huge influence in his life. "I go to her for advice on everything," he said. One piece of advice that has stuck with him is, "The sun's going to rise again. Whatever happened, happened, you just have to move on." This mentality keeps Fox grounded and focused, not matter what challenges come his way, both on and off the field.
For Caleb Fox, TCU is more than just a place of football, it is a place he calls home. With the support of his family and the TCU community, he is focused on achieving his goals, knowing that no matter what challenges come his way, he and his teammates can keep pushing through.
