Team Notes
•TCU and Utah met for the first time since 2010 when both schools were in the Mountain West with TCU winning 47-7 in Salt Lake City. The Horned Frogs have a three-game winning streak in the series.
•TCU had its best defensive effort of the season against an FBS opponent, holding Utah to 267 yards and a 2-of-15 mark on third-down conversions.
•The Horned Frogs' four sacks tied a season-best set in the 34-27 win at Stanford.
•A Shad Banks Jr. punt block gave TCU its fourth blocked kick of the season, tying for the national lead.
•TCU held a 10-0 halftime lead and is 18-2 under Head Coach Sonny Dykes when ahead at the break.
•The Horned Frogs improved to 20-1 under Dykes when leading after three quarters.
•TCU had a time of possession of 30:55 and is 12-2 with Dykes when leading in that category.
•TCU is 2-0 this season in games that start at 9:30 p.m. CDT.
•Dykes is 2-1 as a head coach versus Utah. The first two games took place when he was at Cal.

•Savion Williams led TCU in rushing and receiving, running for a career-high 72 yards on seven carries while adding five receptions for 27 yards.
•Josh Hoover's 1-yard touchdown run was his third of the season and fifth of his career.
•JP Richardson had three receptions for 53 yards to give him at least one catch in 34 consecutive games, tying for the seventh-longest streak in the nation.
•After being sidelined by injury the opening five games, Trent Battle had his first eight rushing attempts of the season for 45 yards while adding two receptions for 19 yards.
•Eric McAlister totaled a team-best 57 yards receiving on two receptions.
•Cam Cook tied a career-high with four receptions for 22 yards.
Defense
•Devean Deal had two sacks as part of five tackles.
•A sack by Marcel Brooks gave him 2.5 on the season, tying him with Devean Deal, Cooper McDonald and Namdi Obiazor for the team lead.
•LaMareon James and Namdi Obiazor tied for the TCU lead with six tackles.
•Kaleb Elarms-Orr recorded his first sack as a Horned Frog and second of his career.
•Bud Clark had his first interception of the season and eighth of his career, tops among current TCU players.
