The Rockwall, Texas, native returns to Fort Worth after one season with the Ducks
FORT WORTH – Head coach Jason Williams announced the signing of Oregon transfer Becca Kelley to the 2024 volleyball roster.
"We are beyond excited to have Becca coming back home," Williams said. "She is an elite terminator with a big arm. Her experience with USA Volleyball will help us immediately, and her fun and vibrant personality is something we are looking forward to as well."
A superstar with USA Volleyball, Kelley won gold at the 2023 FIVB U19 World Championships as a member of the 2023 Girls U19 National Team. The 6-3 outside hitter was named the USA Volleyball All-Star Championship Division MVP as well.
Kelley, who will be a redshirt freshman in her first year at TCU, was a stellar outside hitter in high school. A native of Rockwall, Texas, Kelley was named to the 2022 TGCA 6A All-State Team. She topped 500 kills and averaged nearly six kills per set while hitting .367 during her senior campaign en route to a Texas 6A regional semifinal.
A pivotal role in all rotations, Kelley also averaged 2.91 digs per set and had 31 service aces in her final season. In her last two seasons of her prep career, she tallied 892 kills (4.93 per set) and 485 digs (2.68 per set). She is also the current Rockwall record holder with 40 kills in a single match.
Kelley garnered AVCA First Team High School All-America honors in 2022 after her spectacular senior season. She was also named a Junior Volleyball Association All-America as a senior.
