Horned Frogs Conclude Play at the Schooner Fall Classic

Lau places inside the top 10 after finishing 6-under.
NORMAN, Okla. – TCU finishes 14th at the Schooner Fall Classic after shooting 5-over (285) in the final round on Monday, at the Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Okla.
Lois Lau was exceptional for the Horned Frogs over the three-day event, finishing tied for sixth place with a score of 6-under (204). The senior led the way for the squad, finishing each round at even-par or better. Lau carded three birdies in the final round, posting a score of 2-under (68). Over the course of the tournament Lau recorded 11 total birdies, the most of any Horned Frog.
Sofia Barroso Sa took advantage of the beautiful conditions Belmar provided on day three, posting a 4-under (66) on her scorecard. Barroso Sa made par-or-better on every single hole during the round, while adding four birdies in total. The sophomore finished with a score of 4-over (214), cutting down her deficit from the first two days in half.
Meagan Winans finished off her homecoming with a 1-over (71) on the scorecard for the final round. Winans collected her lone birdie of the day on hole No. 2. The junior finished the tournament at 7-over (217).
True-freshman Sofie Dimitrova finished the tournament at 23-over, while Sheridan Clancy finished at 35-over.
