Team Notes
*The Horned Frogs held an opponent without an offensive touchdown for the first time since winning 17-10 at Texas on Nov. 12 of last season. Nicholls was limited to 263 yards.
*The Horned Frogs have scored at least 40 points in their opening two games for just the second time since 2004.
*TCU had a block on special teams for the second straight game as Trent Battle's blocked punt led to a 24-yard return for a touchdown by Blake Nowell. Namdi Obiazor blocked a field goal in the season opener against Colorado.
*TCU was even in turnover margin and is 14-0 under Head Coach Sonny Dykes when ahead or even in that category.
*Thirteen Horned Frogs had a reception.
*TCU had three sacks, increasing its season total to seven in two games.
*TCU has a 7-1 home record under Dykes and has won nine of its last 10 games overall in Amon G. Carter Stadium.
*TCU and Nicholls met for the first time.
*The Horned Frogs played on Sept. 9 for the first time since a 28-7 win at Arkansas in 2017.
*TCU scored for the 384th consecutive game, the second-longest streak in NCAA history. No. 1 is Florida at 438 games (1988-present). The Horned Frogs haven't been blanked since Nov. 16, 1991, at Texas (32-0).

Offense
*Chandler Morris completed 26-of-30 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns while adding 63 yards rushing on six carries, including a 32-yard score.
*The 86.7 completion percentage by Morris tied for third-best in a game at TCU.
*The 32-yard touchdown was a career-long run for Morris.
*Warren Thompson's team-leading eight receptions for 92 yards set career-highs, breaking his previous personal-best of four catches for 76 yards for Arkansas against Ole Miss in 2021.
*Jaylon Robinson had five receptions for 39 yards, including a 14-yard touchdown, for his first catches as a Horned Frog.
*Jordyn Bailey had the first three receptions of his career for 61 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown for TCU's final points.
*Bailey's touchdown was the first career scoring pass for Josh Hoover.
*DJ Allen had his first career reception. It went for 3 yards.
*DJ Rogers' first career catch went for 16 yards.
*Thompson, Robinson and JoJo Earle made their first starts at TCU.

*Namdi Obiazor had a team-best and career-high nine tackles.
*True freshman Vernon Glover had his first career interception and first pick of the season for the Horned Frogs.

*Rick D'Abreu, Markis Deal and Micheal Ibukun-Okeyode took part in their first sacks as Horned Frogs.
*Josh Newton had two pass breakups.
*Chace Biddle had his first career fumble recovery.
Special Teams
*Griffin Kell's 57-yard field goal on the final play of the first half tied for the longest made kick in TCU history, joining Jaden Oberkrom against West Virginia in 2015 and Michael Reeder versus UTEP in 1996.
*Kell later added a 42-yard field goal.
*A block by Trent Battle and 24-yard return by Blake Nowell gave TCU its first blocked punt for a touchdown since Antonio Graves against New Mexico in 2011.
