Frogs Move Up to First Entering Final Round

Frimodt is tied for first
SAN ANTONIO – TCU will begin the final round with a one-stroke lead on the 12-team Valero Texas Collegiate after a productive Sunday afternoon at TPC San Antonio.
On "moving day," the Horned Frogs shot 3-under 285 as a team to move ahead three spots to first place at 4-under 572. Baylor sits one back at 3-under par, while No. 3 Vanderbilt is three shots behind at 1-under.
Gustav Frimodt also moved up to a tie for first place at 6-under 138. The senior shot 4-under 68, including a back nine score of 3-under 33. Frimodt is tied with Baylor's Johnny Keefer.
Freshman Andrew Petruzzelli shot 1-over 73 and is tied for 18th place at 1-over 145.
No player in the tournament moved up more than Ethan Dial who shot 2-under 70 and ascended 30 positions to a tie for 26th place. Dial's back nine had two birdies and an eagle on the No. 17 par 4. His score of 3-over 147 is tied with Jack Beauchamp, who was 4-over 76 on Saturday.
Brandon Massey and Toby Wilt are tied for 35th place at 4-over 148.
The Horned Frogs will begin the final round at 9:10 a.m. on Monday. They are paired with Baylor and Vanderbilt. Competing as an individual, Wilt will tee-off at 8 a.m.
