TCU Women's Golf Releases Fall Schedule

Four-event slate features two tournaments in Texas
FORT WORTH – Step one in the 2023-2024 odyssey for TCU women's golf is official.
The Horned Frogs unveiled the fall portion of their season schedule on Thursday as announced by head coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin.
TCU will hit the course four times this fall between September-October. The four-tournament lineup features two events in Texas, highlighted by a season-opening tilt in Corinth at the Sam Golden Invitational on Sept. 11-12 at Oakmont Country Club.
The drive down Interstate 30 marks the second time in three seasons TCU has participated in the Sam Golden Invitational. TCU finished third in the 2021 iteration of the tournament.
The Horned Frogs then break for a week before hitting the road north to Norman, Oklahoma for the OU Schooner Classic at Belmar Golf Club. TCU is a frequent fixture in the field and has enjoyed a recent run of success at the tournament, notably placing second at last year's event behind a team score of 9-under 831.
October commences with a visit to the prestigious Medinah Country Club in Champaign, Illinois as a part of the Illini Invitational. TCU received an invitation to the 2022 Illini Invitational and carded a 4-under team score.
The fall finale returns the Horned Frogs to the Lone Star State to compete at the Jim West Invitational in San Marcos. TCU has competed annually in the tournament since 2016. The Horned Frogs won the event in 2018 and produced a second-place finish in 2021.
The Horned Frogs retain four letter winners from a 2022-2023 squad that placed third at the Big 12 Championship – the program's best finish since 2015 – and advanced to the NCAA Championship for the second straight season. Senior Lois Lau ranked second on last year's team in scoring average (72.9) and leads all returners. Lau and sophomore Sofia Barroso Sa both ranked in the top-70 nationally last season in par-4 scoring with respective averages of 4.07 and 4.08.
TCU anticipates unveiling its complete 2023-2024 schedule following the conclusion of fall play.
