TCU Announces Men’s Golf Schedule

Shady Oaks will play host to the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational
FORT WORTH – TCU's men's golf team will once again host the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational as part of its 2023-24 schedule, which was announced on Wednesday.
One of the most competitive tournaments in collegiate golf will take place Oct. 2-3 at Shady Oaks Country Club in Fort Worth. Gustav Frimodt, who returns for his final season, won last season's event at Colonial Country Club, which is currently closed for renovations.
Bill Allcorn will make his TCU head coaching debut at the Valero Texas Collegiate, Sept. 9-11 at TBC San Antonio. The Horned Frogs will then go to the Albuquerque, N.M., Sept. 25-26, for the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate.
Fall competition wraps up with TCU's third event in the state of Texas, the Big 12 Match Play Tournament, held in Hockley, Texas at The Clubs at Houston Oaks. The Frogs finished in third place last season.
The spring season begins Jan. 29-30 with the Arizona NIT, held at Omni Tuscan National in Tuscan, Ariz. The Frogs return to Las Vegas, Nev., for the Southern Highlands Collegiate, Feb. 25-27, at Southern Highlands Golf Club.
The Frogs will compete three times in March, starting with the Louisiana Classics Invitational, March 11-12 in Lafayette, La., at Oakbourne Country Club.
TCU then heads west for two events, the Pauma Valley Invitational on March 18-19 at the Pauma Valley Golf Club in San Diego, Calif., and The Goodwin, March 28-30, at TBC Harding Park Golf Club in San Francisco, Calif.
The regular season ends with the Hawkeye Invitational, April 13-14, at Finkbine Golf Club in Iowa City, Iowa.
This season's Big 12 Championship returns to Whispering Pines Golf Club in Trinity, Texas, April 22-24. The Horned Frogs finished second last season.
NCAA Regionals will take place May 13-15 with the NCAA Championship being held May 24-29 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
