Otway and Klecker Honored by TCU
FORT WORTH – Jade Otway of women's tennis and Kole Klecker of baseball have been named TCU Student-Athletes of the Week, presented by Bob's Steak and Chop House
Otway was dominate this past week, putting up a 3-0 record to lead the Horned Frogs to the first-ever women's NIT title. Otway also went undefeated in doubles, alongside her partner Mercedes Aristegui. She didn't drop a single set during the tournament, and only lost 10 total games through three matches. Her performance was recognized by the tournament committee as she was named NIT MVP.
Klecker added another win to his record, as the Horned Frogs beat Kansas State last Friday in Manhattan. Klecker had a no-hitter through six innings, where he only walked four batters. He finished off the day with six total strikeouts against the Wildcats.
