
Silva Powers TCU To 7-3 Victory Over No. 16 Oklahoma State

FORT WORTH – Anthony Silva's two home runs and three RBIs keyed a 7-3 TCU victory over No. 16 Oklahoma State Friday night to even series at a game apiece. Kole Klecker matched his career-high with seven innings in the win.
The Rundown
Anthony Silva's first home run of the contest tied the game at one in the fourth. The lead evaporated on a two-out Cowboy home run in the fourth.
TCU's bats came to life in the fourth as the Horned Frogs struck for four runs on four hits to open up a 5-2 lead. Tre Richardson started the hit parade with a one-out single. Two batters later, Cole Fontenelle tied the game with a base hit to center.
With two out, Brayden Taylor and Fontenelle executed a double steal. The throw to third got away allowing Taylor to race home with the go-ahead home run. Two batters later, Silva provided the insurance with his second home run of the game.
