TCU starts 36 holes on Monday at 9:30 a.m. CT
FORT WORTH – Coming off back-to-back tournament wins, the TCU men's golf team will begin play at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic on Monday at 9:30 a.m. CT at Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Ariz.
A shotgun start will begin 36 holes on Monday. The final round will begin with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. CT on Tuesday.
The Horned Frogs will go with the lineup of Aymeric Laussot, Jacob Skov Olesen, Maxence Giboudot, Jack Beauchamp and Chris Berzina.

Whirlwind Golf Club is a truly unique Southwest golf experience sensitively designed to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Gila River Indian Community. Surrounded by spectacular mountains and managed by Troon Golf, this unique golf venue was also home to the PGA's Nationwide Insurance Tour, Gila River Golf Classic for five years.

TCU won its second-straight tournament with a season-best score of 21-under 843 at the Seahawk Invitational last week at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C. Laussot put together three rounds of under par (71, 69, 67) for a career-best 9-under 207. He finished tied for third place, his second top 10 and third top 20 finish this season.
TEAM/PROGRAM NOTES
- TCU finished 19th in last season's Wyoming Cowboy Classic. Laussot (-3) led the Frogs with a 23rd place finish. Olesen will also be making a return trip to Whirlwind this season.
- Olesen leads the frogs in top 20 finishes this season with four.
- TCU is ranked No. 34 in the latest GolfStat rankings and is the top team in the others receiving votes of the Bushnell/Golfweek Top 25 Coaches Poll.
- Frimodt is ranked 77th in the GolfStat individual rankings and leads the Frogs with an average score of 70.78. Frimodt will miss his second-straight tournament due to injury.

- Under Montigel, TCU golf teams have advanced to the NCAA Championship 18 times. TCU has finished in the top 20 at the NCAA Championship 13 times, his teams qualified for 31 out of the last 32 NCAA Regionals and won eight conference titles. Montigel has been named conference coach of the year seven times.
