Horned Frogs Finish Third at the MountainView Collegiate

TUSCON, ARIZONA – TCU women's golf team shot 4-under as they finished the third, and final, round of the MountainView Collegiate held at the Saddlebrooke Mountain View Golf Club in Tucson, Arizona. Sofia Barroso Sa had the highlight of the day for the Horned Frogs, carding an eagle on the par-4 No. 14 hole.

Sophomore Caitlyn Macnab lead the way for the Horned Frogs, carding a 4-under 68 in Round 3 and completed the tournament -14. Macnab finished the tournament with a team-high 14 birdies.

Freshman Sofia Barroso Sa collected one eagle, four birdies and ten pars, posting a 3-under 69 in Round 3 and finishing -4 for the tournament.

Junior Lois Lau carded 6-birdies and 7-pars for 1-under 72 in Round 3. Nguyen shot a 1-under 71, carding 2-birdies and 14-pars in the final round.

The Horned Frogs return to action on Saturday, April 1, as they travel to Ardmore, Oklahoma for The Bruzzy at the Waterchase Golf Club.
