TCU begins the final round at 11 a.m. on Tuesday
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Jacob Skov Olesen led the TCU men's golf team in the second round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate on Monday in Las Vegas, Nev.
Olesen carded five birdies and shot 2-under 70. He moved to under par through the first two rounds at 2-under 142 and is tied for 16th.
After shooting 4-under 68 in the first round, freshman Maxence Giboudot was 4-over 76, including an eagle on his final hole, the par 5 No. 18. He is even-par for the tournament is tied for 25th place.
Aymeric Laussot shot 1-over 73 to move to a tie for 31st place at 1-over 145.
Gustav Frimodt shot 2-over 74 and is tied for 54th place at 4-over 148.
The Horned Frogs moved to ninth place after shooting 5-over 293 on the day. In a tournament that features nine top 25 teams, TCU is three shots behind No. 15 Texas A&M. No. 4 North Carolina (-20) leads the 15-team field.
TCU will begin the final round at 11 a.m. Tuesday on hole No. 1 with Texas A&M and UNLV.
