TCU cut the deficit in half in the fourth as it took advantage of a hit batter. Luke Boyers scored on a two-out base hit from David Bishop to make it a 2-1 ballgame.
After two rallies were cut short by a double plays, the Horned Frogs finally found the equalizer in the seventh. Silva opened the inning with a base hit and stole second. Kurtis Bryne's base knock to left tied the game. With runners on the corners and one out, an errant throw on a potential double play ball allowed the eventual game-winning run to score.
