FORT WORTH – Melanie Parra, Jalyn Gibson and Audrey Nalls were named All-Big 12 Conference by the league's head coaches on Tuesday.
Parra garnered First Team honors for the first time in her career, while Gibson and Nalls were Second Team selections.
TCU's three All-Big 12 selections are the most for the program since 2018.
Parra, who was one of six unanimous First Team selections, has been spectacular for the Horned Frogs all season long. The Sinaloa, Mexico, finished the regular season ranked 13th in the NCAA in points per set (5.18) and 17th in kills per set with 4.36. She leads TCU in kills, points and aces.
Earning AVCA National Player of the Week honors on Sept. 19, Parra broke the four-set school record with 34 kills in the Frogs' 3-1 win over Florida State (Sept. 15). Her 34 kills are also the second-most kills in a single match in program history.
Parra, who garnered Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors twice this year, won her second honor on Oct. 3 after tallying 34 kills once again in TCU's 3-2 win over Texas Tech (Sept. 29). She became the first player in program history to record two 34-kill matches.
