Three Frogs Named NCEA October Riders of the Month

Dukes, Goldstein and Graham honored in Horsemanship, Flat and Reining
FORT WORTH – TCU equestrian received three of the four NCEA Rider of the Month awards, the National Equestrian Association announced on Thursday.
Mattie Dukes, Lilly Goldstein and Shea Graham were honored in Horsemanship, Flat and Reining, respectively. The Horned Frogs are off to an undefeated (5-0) start to the season for the first time since 2010. TCU has been victorious over four ranked opponents this season with wins coming against then-No. 1 SMU, then-No. 5 OSU, No. 10 UT Martin and No. 5 Georgia.
Dukes received October NCEA Horsemanship Rider of the Month accolades after tallying a perfect 4-0 record in the event. The graduate student has three MOPs this season and earned two in the month of October against Fresno State and No. 5 Georgia. This is the Texas natives second NCEA Rider of the Month award this season and third in her career. The captain received Big 12 October Horsemanship Rider of the Month accolades on Nov. 1.
Graham earns her second career NCEA Reining Rider of the Month title after an undefeated (4-0) October in the event. The senior set a season high against No. 5 OSU on Oct. 5 where she earned the MOP honor with a 73.5. The Arizona native was named Big 12 October Reining Rider of the Month on Nov. 1.
Goldstein is undefeated in her collegiate career after winning each of the four Flat matchups she competed in. The freshman out of Argyle, Texas has three ranked wins and has a high score of 91 that came against Fresno State. She earned the conference Rider of the Month title in Flat on Nov. 1.
The Horned Frogs are set to host No. 8 Baylor for their third Big 12 matchup of the season at KSM Bear Creek Farms on Friday, Nov. 10 at 10 a.m.
